Brigham started giving those "unconscious" smiles at 10 days. He started grinning really big at around four weeks. I have yet to catch one on camera. He started to throw in the coos at around 6 weeks. At 8 weeks, he is following us all over with his eyes and making great eye contact. It's so encouraging as a parent to watch your child develop and hit all their milestones. We are still working on the tummy time thing. Most of his life is spent in a carrier so he still doesn't pop up on his elbows. Though I think his strength is adequate he could do it if we practiced, and he didn't cry so much :)
